Career Paths of our graduates

Seamount College, catering for female students, has graduates studying in a wide variety of disciplines in many 3rd level colleges around Ireland. Some of our graduates are studying courses in U.K. colleges.

The rest of this class are studying nursing, hairdressing doing post Leaving Certificate courses or have decided to repeat the Leaving Certificate to reconsider their options or to obtain higher points in this years Leaving Certificate examination. Some students have deferred their course places and have opted to take the year out and save money for their college course.

The students in this school are high achievers and obtain good results each year.


SPORT

Seamount has a deserved reputation for sporting achievement at the highest level. School teams enjoy regular success in camogie, Hockey, Cross-country, track and field and Basketball in the Western region, Connaught and All-Ireland Competitions.
Played in the right spirit, sport can be a major influence in character development and personal fulfilment.
